Oh snap! The world has finally done what it was intended to do. James May of Top Gear (the best and most enjoyable show ever created from the UK since The Office, or The Thick of It, or Spaced, or, well, everything we’ve imported on our screens now) has finally decided to speak about photography.
Oh what a day! He’s hilarious. And he has given the history of photography the voice it sorely needed. With him, and that uniquely British way of puffing anything up, we can finally say that the entire project of photography is complete. We’re up there with the big boys, riding alongside Top Gear‘s McLaren F1 or a Pagani Zonda. But, seriously, you should check out this video. It’s pretty informative.
